Fish on Fridays

This is not just another southern dish, but a national tradition. Carol Ann's Home Cooking Café serves the best cat fish in town; consisting of a special breading that has yet to be duplicated, but often imitated. Come in and see for yourself!

N
ashville's latest phenomenon, located three blocks off Interstate I-40, Fessler's Lane is all the buzz. Who's Who of Tennessee have come from miles around to get a taste of the best down home cooking at 407 Murfreesboro Road, where the food is high quality and the atmosphere is superb like not other.

You may ask, what makes this establishment so unique; simply put, it's the owner Farrah Bradley Young. This 30 year old entrepreneur manages a full-circled staff ranging from cooks and waiters to cashiers and maintenance. One can say Ms. Young's hands are blessed. She carries just about any entree.

In a recent interview, Young said, "Most restaurants serve hot rolls, but not home made. They have desserts, but they're not home made. There's something about the experience you have when thinking back to the days and meals mom used to make." A time when the aroma of your favorite food would have you walking from one room to the next and there was no need to say, "Dinner's ready" or "Time to Eat"; that's what you find when you come to Carol Ann's Home Cooking Café. Farrah is known as Ms. Peach Cobbler!

Fast food chains have dominated the industry for the last 30 to 35 years. Now people appreciate a change. You can dine in or take out; just call ahead and it's ready when you get here. One customer said, "I was driving home from work and smelled barbeque ribs. I looked around to see where the smell was coming from and I quickly turned my car around." You know the rest...she bought two slabs. The ribs were sizzling on open Pit Bar-B-Q Grills. What places Carol Ann's Home Cooking Café above the rest is the food is mouth-watering; one taste and you'll be hooked, coming back for more and more. Another plus about Carol Ann's menu is not only is the food good, but it's good for you. There aren't many restaurants in Nashville that carry your favorite dishes and keep you healthy, but here you'll find something for everyone to enjoy...right down to the last drop. each day we have something special in store for you.
